No-prep veneers

Porcelain and composite veneers often require your dentist to prep your teeth before being able to install your veneers, but you can also opt for no-prep veneers which can be placed over the top of your natural tooth instead. These don't require any preparation work, making for a quicker process overall.

No-prep veneers are technically removable as your teeth often don't need to be altered before the veneers are placed over the top of them, but they aren't always the best when your teeth are extensively damaged.

Step 1: Cosmetic dentistry consultation & smile simulation for veneers

We have digital scanners and 3D printers in-house to offer you accurate consultations and smile simulations. During your initial consultation, we'll assess your teeth and walk you through your options. We'll also take pictures and x-rays of your teeth to use for future reference so you can see before and after photos!

Based on everything we gather at your consultation, we'll create your personalised treatment plan and show you a digital mock-up of your new smile so you can see an estimate of your results.

Step 2: Trial smile with temporary veneers

Porcelain veneers often can't be reversed in the future, so we often offer a trial smile with temporary veneers to our patients beforehand. These fit over the top of your natural tooth enamel to give you a hint of what you'd look like with veneers, and you can wear them out and about for a few weeks to make sure you're happy with your new smile!

Step 3: Dental Veneer preparation

Once you're happy to go ahead with your treatment, we'll remove your temporary veneers and get to work preparing your teeth. Here we'll remove a little of your tooth enamel to make room for the veneers so they don't stick out and look unnatural. We'll then take digital impressions of your teeth and send them to our in-house dental lab.

Step 4: Dental Veneer cementation

Once your veneers are ready, we'll invite you back in and get to work bonding them with a strong dental adhesive. Once they're attached, we'll check your bite and make any necessary adjustments before letting you see your new smile!

Step 5: Dental Veneer aftercare

Once your veneers have been fitted, it's time to take them out into the real world - but not without the proper veneer aftercare. Make sure you regularly brush and floss, avoiding hard and crunchy foods to prevent damage. With the correct aftercare your veneers can last for many years to come, so don't underestimate the importance of looking after your new teeth.
