Invisalign Vs Fastbraces
Do you want straight teeth but don't know which method is best? Finding out how to create your perfect smile can be tricky, but it doesn't need to be. Clear aligners and traditional metal braces are fantastic ways to straighten teeth, offer more space to crowded teeth, and even address bite issues. But with so many on the market, how do you choose the right option? That is where we come in! Today, we have a detailed review of both Invisalign and Fastbraces to help you see which treatment is the best for you. We look at the approach, duration, cost, and more to help you achieve your perfect smile today.

What We Are Going To Cover:

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Treatment Approach

The treatment approach between these teeth straightening methods is very different. Both involve frequent visits to your dentist, but the Invisalign aligners can be removed while the Fastbraces remain in your mouth until the treatment is complete.

Invisalign Treatment Approach

The Invisalign treatment approach is broken into three steps:

Step 1 - Consultation

To begin, you will be invited to a consultation where we assess if you are a candidate for Invisalign. We then discuss what smile you would like and create a 3D model of your smile. Using SMileView, we can show you what your future smile would look like and make any adjustments. Our custom Invisalign trays will be created once you are happy with your smile.

Step 2 - Begin Treatment

When your aligners arrive, you will be invited for a second appointment. Here, one of our CBD dentists will fit your aligners, check the aligner trays fit correctly, and show you how to use them. They will also run through your treatment plan so you know what to expect. You will likely change your aligners every two weeks as your crooked teeth straighten and you work towards your dream smile. You will be invited for appointments every six weeks to check your progress and perform any required dental work, like cleaning and checking for tooth decay.

Step 3 - Enjoy Your Smile

Once your orthodontic treatment ends, you will move to a night-time retainer and enjoy your new smile! You will return to appointments every six months to monitor your dental health.

Fastbraces Treatment Approach

Fastbraces work differently from clear aligners and traditional braces after an initial consultation with your dentist to see if Fastbraces are an option for you before having them fitted. Fastbraces involve attaching a triangular bracket to traditional metal wire. The brace is then installed and will move the roots of the teeth and crown simultaneously to achieve faster results. Fastbraces are easier to predict than traditional braces, allowing your dentist to give an accurate time frame. They are also easier to install, done in just one session. During your treatment, your dentist will likely invite you back every two to three weeks to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments. Routine dental work might be offered at these appointments, too.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Treatment Duration

There are similar time frames for both Invisalign and Fasrtbraces treatment. However, Fastbraces does offer faster treatments, of sixty to ninety days. The accessibility of these depends on how much straightening is required to achieve your perfect smile.

Invisalign Treatment Duration

How long your Invisalign treatment takes depends on how much work is required to achieve your new smile. Typically, it takes anywhere from three to eighteen months, with minor straightening taking around three months and complex cases and bite issues taking over a year. Depending on the work needed, a time frame will be given during your consultation. For this time frame to be accurate, you must follow the treatment plan carefully, as skipping days or taking clear aligners out too soon will slow your progress.

Fastbraces Treatment Duration

Fastbraces are designed to be quicker than traditional metal braces, with the average customer using them from three months to one year. However, some treatments can take less time, and patients can finish treatment within sixty to ninety days. How long your treatment will take depends on the straightening required; your dentist can advise a time frame for you during your consultation.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Technological Features

Invisalign and Fastbraces use innovative technology to provide their treatment. Their technological features focus on straightening your teeth without applying too much pressure, keeping you pain-free and preventing damage to your teeth.

Invisalign Technological Features

Invisalign uses three main technological features to create your new smile. These are outlined below for you:
  • SmartTrack Material - Uses gentle and constant force to move your teeth. The material helps to speed up treatment time, allowing you to see results quickly
  • SmartStage Technology - Programmes individual tooth movement simultaneously, helping us to predict your results and you to see them quickly
  • SmartForce Attachments - Helps your aligner deliver the results you want. Bite ramps, precision cuts, and a power ride are some of the attachments and features we can use to help you achieve your perfect smile

Fastbraces Technological Features

Fastbraces have some technological features you should be aware of, listed below:
  • Alveolar Bone Formula for Prediction of Orthodontic Treatment - Helps speed up treatment compared to other places on the market. They upright the roots of maligned teeth towards the straight position, using just one wire for a faster straightening process
  • High-tech nickel-titanium wire - Helps restore morphology of healthy bone around crooked teeth to gently straighten them
Fastbraces uses patented technology and designs to offer a unique solution to misaligned teeth.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Cost

There isn't much difference in the cost between Fastbraces and Invisalign. The costs vary depending on how long you will have Fastbraces and your smile goals with Invisalign. Payment plans are available with Invisalign here at Gorgeous Smiles, making your dream smile accessible. Speak to your dentist about payment plan options with Fastbraces.

Invisalign Cost

How much Invisalign aligners cost varies, depending on your plan and the work required to create your new smile. Invisalign treatment costs between $6,000 and $9,000 on average, but some plans start from $3,500. We have more information on the prices listed below:
  • Invisalign i7: $3,500 to $5,500
  • Invisalign Lite: $5,000 to $7,000
  • Invisalign Full: $7,000 to $9,000
Whichever option you choose, you can use one of our payment plans to spread the cost of your treatment. We believe a beautiful smile should be accessible to everyone and offer consultations where you can discuss your payment options with us.

Fastbraces Cost

The cost of Fastbraces varies, depending on how long you wear them. The cost also varies from dentist to dentist, so getting a quote from your dentist before proceeding with the treatment is best. On average, a four-month treatment plan costs $5,000, and a twelve-month treatment plan costs $9,500. Your dentist can further guide you on how long you plan to provide a more accurate cost.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Customer Experience

Customers were impressed with both Invisalign and Fastbraces. While they were pleased with the services and results, a few customers noted that both alignment treatments took longer than initially anticipated.

Invisalign Customer Experience

Customers are overwhelmingly happy with their Invisalign experience, enjoying everything from the informative consultation process to their results. Customers loved discussing their new smile in person and seeing a 3D model. While the aligners can be uncomfortable, few customers find them painful, making it easier to wear them daily. They found the treatment plan easy to incorporate into their lifestyle, making customers more inclined to follow it and reducing the chances of their results taking longer. A few customers did note that the process was longer than they initially thought, but the support of their dental professionals helped them achieve their perfect smile. They were impressed with their results, and we think you will be too. Check out some of our fantastic before and after results on our website.

Fastbraces Customer Experience

Customers were impressed with their experiences and the results. Many noted the fast turnaround from the consultation to having the braces fitted, but this would vary depending on your dentist. Customers were thrilled with the results, with their teeth being straightened and bite issues being fixed. Some customers noted that the results did take longer, with many wearing the braces closer to a year, but this does depend on the extent of straightening needed.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Customer Support

You get plenty of in-person support with Invisalign and Fastbraces. The support provided by both treatments allows you to have queries resolved quickly and your treatment plan adjusted where necessary; it also helps you remain on top of your dental health, keeping your new smile healthy.

Invisalign Customer Support

With Gorgeous Smiles, you get all the customer support you could need. All our support can be offered in person, making it easier for us to track your progress and adjust your treatment plan if required. You have access to our dental professionals for any queries and appointments every six weeks. We will monitor your progress at these check-ups, adjust your plan, and carry out any routine dental treatment you might need. This includes cleanings, removing plaque build-up, and checking for tooth decay to keep your smile clean and healthy.

Fastbraces Customer Support

Support with Fastbraces comes through your dentist. Once the brace is fitted, you will see your dentist every two to three weeks until the treatment is complete, providing plenty of face-to-face contact. During these appointments, your brace will be checked and adjusted to ensure you achieve your desired results. Your dentist will also be able to answer any queries and provide routine dental care to ensure that your teeth remain healthy.

Invisalign Vs Fastbraces: Aftercare

Both Invisalign and Fastbraces place importance on aftercare. Fastbraces aftercare can require more effort, especially if a fixed retainer needs to be worn.

Invisalign Aftercare

Aftercare is a vital part of Invisalign to prevent your results from being undone. Night-time retainers are to be worn to keep your smile in place, along with other aftercare procedures listed below:
  • You must attend regular dental check-ups and cleanings to maintain your oral health
  • You should avoid staining foods and drinks like berries, coffee, and wine as these can discolour your teeth
  • You must clean your aligners regularly to prevent bacteria and plaque from building up. Lukewarm water and a soft-bristled brush is the best method
  • You must rinse your aligners after use in lukewarm water
  • You must floss and brush regularly to ensure good oral hygiene

Fastbraces Aftercare

Aftercare is also essential with Fastbraces to ensure your teeth remain in the new position. You must wear a removable retainer to bed every night after your Fastbraces treatment. You will also be advised to have a fixed retainer. This wire sits behind the front teeth in the upper and lower arch. Your dentist will recommend whether this is needed as part of your aftercare.
