What We Are Going To Cover:
No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Treatment Approach
No prep veneers and porcelain veneers have slightly different treatment approaches, with porcelain veneers taking longer. This is due to us customising your porcelain veneers, creating the perfect fit for your teeth. No prep veneers also require less preparation for your teeth before they are installed, allowing us to fit these quicker.
No Prep Veneers Treatment Approach
We use our three-step approach to install your no-prep or minimal-prep veneers:
Step 1 - Consultation
To start, we invite you in for a consultation. We will discuss your smile goals and if you are the right candidate for no-prep veneers. We will take impressions of your teeth, which we can use to create your veneers.
Depending on how long this takes, you might need to return your veneers to be fitted, or we can fit them on the same day.
Step 2 - Placement
When your veneers are ready, we can attach them to your teeth instantly. To do this, we might need to lightly etch or score the surface of your teeth. This isn't the same as filing them, but you might find it a little uncomfortable.
Once the surface is ready, we will bond your veneers to your teeth, creating your dream smile.
Step 3 - Aftercare
After the veneers are applied, there is little aftercare to worry about. You will care for your no-prep veneers as you do natural teeth, brushing and flossing regularly.

no-prep veneer treatment process here.
Veneers Treatment Approach
To install your veneers, we follow the four-step treatment approach:
Step 1 - Diagnosis
To start, you will have a consultation where we will assess the condition of your teeth and if you are a suitable candidate for veneers. If you need additional dental work, we will discuss this with you here, along with your smile goals.
We will use our digital scanner and 3D printer to create the perfect shade for your veneers and create your dream smile. You can make suggestions here to ensure that your new smile is perfect for you.
Step 2 - Preparation
For your veneers to be fitted, we need to file your teeth, removing a layer of enamel. This creates enough room in your mouth for your veneers to fit and remain natural. Filing your teeth can be uncomfortable, but we can offer local anesthetic to ensure you don't feel any pain.
While your custom veneers are made, we will fit you with temporary veneers to allow you to retain normal mouth function.
Step 3 - Bonding
We will invite you back once your veneers are ready and fit them into your mouth. We will ensure that they are fitted correctly and are comfortable before you leave, giving you the smile of your dreams.
Step 4 - Aftercare
Once your veneers are applied, we will invite you back for regular checkups to ensure your veneers are fitted correctly and functioning normally. You will need to care for your veneers at home, regularly brushing and flossing to keep your smile healthy.

No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Treatment Duration
No prep veneers are quicker to install than porcelain veneers, as there is no preparation work required. You will likely make several visits to us when porcelain veneers are fitted, as we need to file your teeth before we can fit your veneers.
No Prep Veneers Treatment Duration
No prep veneers can often be fitted on the same day, making the treatment very quick! You will likely have a consultation and return when your impressions are ready, but where possible, we can fit your veneers the same day.
Veneers Treatment Duration
It can take a few weeks for your veneer treatment to be completed. This is because we custom-make your veneers, which can take a few weeks, depending on how busy we are. Don't worry; we keep you updated during the entire process and fit you with temporary veneers, so you don't need to wait for weeks to enjoy your perfect smile.
You can expect your veneer treatment to take two to three appointments, including your consultation, filing, and fitting of your veneers.
No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Technological Features
There is more variety when choosing no-prep veneers, as brands come up with new ways to create thinner and more natural veneers. However, when we install porcelain veneers, we work with you to create the perfect and most realistic smile for your face.
No Prep Veneers Technological Features
We offer three different types of no-prep veneers, each with slightly different technological features:
Lumineers
Lumineers are manufactured by DenMat and are one of the most well-known options on the market. They are very thin and will look natural on your teeth, making them a great option if you don't want it to look like you are wearing veneers.
DURAthin
DURAthin veneers are the perfect choice for patients who don't want their teeth shaved or etched. These porcelain no-prep veneers use super thin layers of translucent porcelain to make them more durable than other no-prep veneers without changing the colour of your teeth.
As these can be bonded straight to your teeth without any etching, they are some of the fastest to install.
Vivaneers
Vivaneers are another good choice, especially if you don't want veneers to take up much room in your mouth. At 0.33mm thick, you won't feel these in your mouth or notice a difference to the thickness of your teeth, making them a natural option.
Veneers Technological Features
To create your perfect smile, we use a few cutting-edge technological features:
Thin Porcelain
We use a thin porcelain that helps us create your dream smile, without the veneers seeming too big for your mouth. The thickness of our porcelain helps your veneers to look more like natural teeth, giving you a natural smile without it seeming obvious that you have veneers.
Colour Precision
We use colour precision technology to perfectly match your veneers to your natural teeth shade. This helps us to blend your veneers next to your natural teeth, ensuring that your smile remains natural without teeth that are completely different shades.
Digital Scanning And 3D Printing
By using digital scanning and 3D printing, we can create a detailed view of your mouth, helping us create the perfect smile for your face. The detail it allows us to create helps us make the perfect smile for your face that won't look too big for your smile or fake. It also allows you to see how your new smile will look before we put it in place, allowing you to tweak it if needed.
No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Cost
No prep and porcelain veneers are not a cheap option, but they can last for years. No prep veneers can be cheaper, depending on the type that you choose. When deciding between the two, consider how long you want the veneers to last and how many teeth you are covering to get the right choice for your budget.
We also offer
several payment plan options that allow you to spread the cost of your treatment over several months if needed.
No Prep Veneers Cost
No prep veneers cost between $800 and $2,000 per tooth, depending on the brand that you choose. They tend to be cheaper than porcelain veneers, with their lower cost and fast installation making them a popular choice for our customers.
Veneers Cost
Veneers cost roughly $1,300 per tooth, with the cost rising depending on how many teeth you choose to cover. Veneers can be an expensive option, but they will last for at least ten years, making them a long-term investment for many of our customers.
No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Customer Experience
Customers were impressed with the experience of porcelain and no prep veneers. While the treatment is quicker for no-prep veneers, we offer the same level of service and dedication to all our patients.

No Prep Veneers Vs Veneers: Aftercare
No prep, and porcelain veneers require little aftercare, allowing you to enjoy your new smile without any lengthy care routines. You do need to be mindful of the toothpaste and toothbrush you use with no prep veneers and ensure that you attend regular dental checkups, regardless of the veneer you choose.
No Prep Veneers Aftercare
No prep veneers have very little aftercare! All you need to do is brush and floss your teeth daily to ensure good oral hygiene. We do recommend using non-abrasive toothpaste and soft bristle toothbrushes to prevent scratches to your veneers. While these scratches would not impact their function, it can reduce their lifespan and appearance.
Alongside daily care, we recommend regular dental checkups where we can assess your oral health and ensure that the veneers are functioning as they should.

Veneers Aftercare
Veneers require little aftercare compared to other cosmetic dentistry treatments. You will need to care fro your veneers daily as you would natural teeth, brushing and flossing twice a day. You should also attend regular dental appointments every six months, where we can assess your oral health and hygiene to ensure your new smile stays healthy.
Although porcelain veneers are very durable, they might need to be replaced should they become damaged. Book an appointment with us if you are concerned about your veneers losing colour or becoming loose.
